Inner Control Physiotherapy is located within the family friendly Carlton Medical Centre which was established almost 30 years ago and consists of a group of caring female medical practitioners. Whilst located within the Carlton Medical Centre, Inner Control Physiotherapy is a separate entity and works with a variety of clinicians across Melbourne. Note that the Carlton Medical Centre's GP books are currently closed to new patients.

Donna has worked as a physiotherapist for the past 20 years in both in Australia and the UK. She has a background in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as Post Graduate qualifications in Continence and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation (Melbourne University).
Her breadth of experience includes working in large multidisciplinary sports clinics, private practices and public health specialist continence clinics. She practises at both Inner Control Physiotherapy and at the Royal Women's Hospital where she is presently involved in a clinical trial on Pericoach- a new intravaginal device. In addition to clinical practice she is regularly responsible for the clinical supervision of Postgraduate Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation students at Melbourne University.
Donna’s approach ensures conditions are managed holistically and practically, focusing on both the immediate issue but with real understanding of the impact of these conditions on your day-to-day activity – be it taking the children to school, a daily walk, shopping or training for a marathon. She works closely with other practitioners to ensure you achieve your best outcomes.
A keen runner and competitor, Donna has a genuine interest in sporting rehabilitation particularly as it relates to pelvic floor function. She enjoys managing pre and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions and understands the value of staying active particularly as a parent of young children.
